Realistic Goals, leading to an Optimistic future for all
I'm a Classics student in my final year at Winchester College. I am fortunate to grown up in England, but the state of the world scares my generation and we are vocal about wanting to participate in effecting change.
Instead of blaming Governments, I propose we assist them by augmenting their efforts. Food and literacy are two areas close to my heart, as I have seen the benefits that the security of having both can bring.
I was elected to the Youth Parliament in Hampshire County on a two prong manifesto:
1) Literacy for all through hyperlocal libraries
2) Creating a sustainable funding source for food charities focussed on school meals
These were the cornerstones of my campaign, and I am delighted to announce that I have made positive and measurable progress across both.
In the next section, you would read about the 4Plates Movement. This is a scalable project, that requires no "donations". Do read about it, and help alleviate hunger globally - one penny at a time.
You would write to me to learn about each one, and how you could get involved. I would love your support.
